A little about Me!
I conducted my 500th wedding in 2016 after 8 years, so I must be doing something right in the wedding industry! Have clocked up 21 straight years of high school teaching having a Bachelor of Education and a Masters Degree in Literacy from Melbourne and Monash Universities respectively.
I now teach VCAL students (the tradies) and look after careers choices for students.
The students keep me young, organised and ready for anything!
family & kids
Love family, it’s so important! I have five children/step children between the ages of 10 and 16 who keep my partner Jason and I busy (as you can imagine!). Football, basketball, netball, dancing, training, homework, productions, rehearsals, part time work, play dates, sleepovers and family events means weekends and weeknights are flat out; but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Nothing phases me really… Why worry about things that might not happen? I’m ready for anything-whatever you want, it can be accommodated.

Frequently Asked Questions
It all depends on where and when you marry! Generally, between $720 and $800 but there may be some additional travel fees. Discounts available for midweek, morning, and lunchtime weddings.
Naming Ceremonies approximately $400.
Make an appointment to meet me in my home in Mt Evelyn, (or via Skype where distance proves a problem), I take you through my inspiration package, see if we have a meeting of the minds and you feel the vibe! If so, we lock in the date, you pay a $200 booking fee and start planning. NB: Book your celebrant once you’ve locked in your date!
Absolutely! Apart from you hearing the Monitum from the Marriage Act, you stating the legal vows and signing at the end, the ceremony is yours for the taking. Use my inspiration pack to guide you.
It varies of course, depending on what you choose to include in your ceremony. Most ceremonies I conduct from ‘walk in’ to ‘walk out’ are usually between 15 and 25 minutes.
Once you have the official certificate from www.bdm.vic.gov.au (about $32 and 8 weeks wait) you then need to visit and ring places to say that you now want to be known as Mrs Happy! (make sure you have your marriage certificate and ID with you!) Change your license first!
